Today at our New Disha school, the teachers brought a cake. At the end of the class, they said, “Brother, please cut the cake — it’s a surprise!” Since yesterday was my birthday, they wanted me to celebrate it with everyone today. Honestly, it felt very nice. Receiving respect and warm wishes from people close to the heart always feels special.
I treated everyone to lassi, and it brought great joy. The children enjoyed it happily in the summer heat. They also brought chocolates for me, which touched me deeply. Altogether, since yesterday, everything has felt a little different — filled with love and warmth. For me, people’s affection is truly priceless.
There is more good news. Madam Savita Kaushik (from Bangalore) saw on Facebook that the mats used by our New Disha children had worn out and torn. Out of kindness, she couriered two beautiful pārans (mats) and a dustbin for the school.
We are deeply thankful to Madam Savita Kaushik for her thoughtful support. May she always stay well.
